Welcome
I would like to thank you for visiting my website.
I believe in Kentucky. Kentucky has limitless potential that can only be realized by all of us rolling up our collective sleeves. This can best be done by addressing the needs of the people of Kentucky, rather than the egos of politicians.
One of the challenges we face today is the failure of our elected Washington politician to give us the simple truth rather than partisan rhetoric. My pledge to you is to tell you the truth without fear of political fallout. Supporting term limits allows me to work for you rather than working for money from special interest groups to get reelected. There is the need for real people who have a history of service to be in Washington. When ownership of an office is more important than the serving of the people it represents, it can have devastating consequences. Pulling Kentucky together requires a leadership that is sacred, trustworthy and responsible. True leadership is sacred not owned. I believe the values that are now needed for leadership comes from the gift of serving.
My experience and service comes from the values that I have learned over my lifetime. Less than 9 years ago I worked on my 324-acre family farm caring for 100 head of cattle, I have served in the public and private sectors, run several small businesses and served on over 30 boards and commissions. In short, I believe that I can identify with the hopes and dreams of the people in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The people of Kentucky deserve a campaign and candidate that addresses the real issues facing everyday working Kentuckians.
Therefore this is a campaign about service not position. I am a Democrat and believe in democratic core values. However, with your help, this campaign can and will start a movement that will empower the average citizen, regardless of party affiliation. People of Kentucky, lets stand up and be heard so we can send a message to Frankfort, Washington and the Country. If you are fed up with party bickering and lackluster service at the expense of taxpayers I urge you to elect me on May 18, 2010 as your next U.S. Senator.
I believe if you elect me in 2010 as your U.S. Senator, together we can create a record of success and leave a history of service that we all can be proud of. For the people and by the people we will serve and lead.
Thank You and God Bless You.
Sincerely,
